Evan at eighteen months

Stuff he can do:

climb on the couch, push around and climb up his kitchen tower, clean up a mess and take the rag to the wash bin, walk up and down stairs (even though we still like him to sit down to go down on the stairs at home), throw things away, get out his diaper changing supplies, RUN!, carry his own backpack of toys, wave hi and bye, brush teeth, help roll out dough with a rolling pin, give closed-mouth kisses -- FINALLY!

Words he can say: bye bye hi go various animal sounds: moo, neigh, oink (he actually snorts!), cock-a-doodle-doo more uh oh water (wa-dur) mama dada Nana (and nana for Banana) switch (he says "atch") bubble, puddle, belly button (these three all sound the same!) yuck snack ("ack") book tractor

Words he can sign: more eat milk bird (kind of) fish (kind of) help wash hands toothbrush please thank you

His favorite things:

jumping off the couch into our arms (he does a free fall with his feet firmly planted, so it's "belly first"), play in the sandbox, play in the water, take a shower, read books--his favorites are the ones with animals, color, play with play dough, going outside, visiting the neighbors, visiting family, pushing buttons
